- Contents: 3 large mesh socks 100% cotton
- Directions For Use
- Place desired items in Soup Sock such as: Poultry, beef, seafood, vegetables, whole spices
- Tie a knot in the open end or secure with Regency Cooking Twine
- Place in pot and allow to cook according to recipe
- Carefully remove with oven mit and/or tongs. Sock and content will be hot!
- Allow to drain. gently squeeze out excess liquid over pot if desired
- Discard or cut open and transfer content into serving dish
- Auntie Anne's Chicken Soup Recipe
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 onions, halved
- 3 cups of celery, cleaned and cut into 1" pieces
- 4 carrots, cleaned and cut into 1" pieces
- 1 large tomato halved
- 1 TBs salt (to taste)
- 2 TBs fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
- 2 packets sugar substitute (.035 oz)
- 1 pkg instant chicken soup mix
- Thoroughly washed chicken and remove giblet package. Salt the chicken inside and out.
- Place the chicken and vegetables in Soup Sock and tie a knot in the end. Put the Soup Sock and seasonings in a large pot in 7-12 cups of water. Make sure that the chicken and vegetables are completely submerged
- Bring to a rapid boil for 10 minutes, than turn down to simmer and cook until chicken is tender. Approximately 2-3 hours

HINT: To make soup lower in fat, refrigerate soup and skim congealed fat off easily with a large slotted spoon or use Regency Grease Sheets
